Begonia Double Pink

Begonia Double Pink bulbs are the ideal floral choice for those that love pink. The petals feature a rich pink double-headed bloom atop luscious green stems. As with most Begonias, they thrive in well-drained soil in partial shade, making them perfect for borders of similar colors or patio containers. Unlike trailing Begonias, these are more erect, making them ideal for a garden setting. Plant the bulbs in a shallow tray with the hollow side up starting in February in a greenhouse. When the shoots appear, transfer them into larger pots. They will benefit from a good compost and bonemeal mix. Put the Begonia Double Pinks outside once there is no risk of frost. Once flourishing, water them and deadhead the dying flowers every few weeks. Avoid letting the soil dry out; during particularly dry periods, the flowers may require two waterings a day.
