Begonia Double Red

Begonia Double Red bulbs can create a gorgeous display in the garden. With their vibrant red-hued blooms on green stems, they make a beautiful addition. While they prefer shade to full sun, they are ideal for pots and borders with similar colors. Plant the bulbs in shallow trays, hollow side up, from February on. When shoots appear, move to bigger pots with compost and bonemeal. When the risk of frost has passed, they can be transferred outdoors. Keep the soil moist and feed twice per fortnight, plus deadhead to encourage further blooms.
