Dahlia Boy Scout Bulbs

Dahlia Boy Scout Bulbs are a small, round-shaped variety with vibrant deep pink coloring. At only 50 cm tall, these compact plants make a great addition to a potted or border garden. From July to late Autumn, they will provide a stunning display, and regular deadheading will help promote new bud growth. They require frequent watering, especially during the hotter days of the season. They also make fantastic cut flowers, and when planted among similar colors, they create a captivating visual. Be aware that these bulbs are not frost hardy, so some protection should be provided. They do, however, thrive in sunny, well-drained soil, and the tubers can be left to overwinter with a thick layer of mulch to protect them.
